Other Projects and Volunteering

A Route to Connect, Balkans

A Route To Connect is a project of SCI supported by the European Youth Foundation focused on spreading awareness about the refugee situation in the Balkan route, giving a voice to the stories of refugees, and empowering youngsters to take action. The project is part of the Building Bridges campaign. The main activities of the project were an inspirational preparatory seminar in Spain, a field trip to the Balkans, and local follow-up events around Europe. The aim of the project is to build bridges between European society and refugees, as to promote a more inclusive and peaceful society.

Techo, Brazil and Argentina

TECHO is a youth-led non-profit organization that works in informal settlements to create a just society without poverty. Today there are over 200 million people living in poverty in Latin America and the Caribbean. No proper home, no potable water, sewage, or electricity access. Our mission is to change that reality, working to create system-changing solutions to end poverty and shape a future we all want to live in. I worked for Teto in Brazil and Argentina, from 2011 to 2015.
